This is the pump closet, about 50' from the storage tank. A Grundfos
demand pump supplies up to 10 gpm at up to 60 psi. No filtering
presently in place. Visiable is a stub to supply water to a
filter/sterilzation unit. Second stub off the photo to the right.
Water from the tank enters at floor level to the left and exits in the
adjacent pipe. The plumbing allows well water to be used both to fill
the rainwater collection tank and to supply household demand. The
main demand (house) is about 2000-2300' distant and is supplied through
1.5" PVC. The closet is attached to a guest house which is a second,
minor, demand.
