I arrived home after delivering about 1pm and found this in my road. SURPRISE! Only Orbano of my four field hands was working. Notice two bulges in the windshield and broken rear window meaning probably two people in the truck and one in the back. No blood in the truck. Orbano reports that the missing three are walking and have been taken by Robert into town.
This is one of my favorite "around the farm" trucks; field hands are not allowed to drive my vehicles.

Alright, here is the semi-complete story as of 8am the day after the "accident": Orbano told me that the three missing guys had gone to "la tienda" with Robert, my intrepreter. I expected to hear from Robert. When I had not by the next morning, I called him and had him come over and talk to Orbano for me. Results: the three missing guys reported the "accident" to Orbano around noon and told him that they were going to walk over to Robert's house presumablly to be taken for medical attention. One of them was bleeding. Billy Hanks saw them walking in Dale around noon. Robert did not see them Wednesday, but had taken them to the store Tuesday evening. Culprits are Nicolas Medina (the reported driver), and brothers Justo and Vicente Rodriguez. They left their personal belongings here and there have been no reported sightings since around noon Wednesday 1/27/5.

No word of the culprits. I'm still limping along, picking spinach with one guy. Finally used a tractor to drag the wreck out of the roadway. Will start stripping parts off of it as time allows.
